WhatsApp Group call rejoin the new feature
WhatsApp added a new feature to join WhatsApp group calls which already started or user missed any calls. This Facebook-owned company is currently focusing on improving its security and other feature improvements that users have been waiting for for many years. Users already get some of its new features in just the last few weeks like WhatsApp multiple device support which lets users use the Same WhatsApp on more than one device, WhatsApp expiring media support and it’s not ended here WhatsApp now adding new UI for audio and video calls and now users can able to join missed group calls also. Currently, It’s not available for all the users but is limited to WhatsApp beta users.
WhatsApp group call Announcement in a Blog post
WhatsApp announced officially about joinable calls on Monday blog post, that this new feature allows users to join group calls even its already started or the user missed attending, Now WhatsApp shows the banner “Tap to join” in the WhatsApp group video call tab to join it quickly (as call still going on) and now users can also drop off and rejoin calls which going on, similarly LIKE Google Meet and Zoom calls.
The incoming Call UI for the WhatsApp group call is also updated. Now you will not find the old red decline button but you can see the new “Ignore” button, and the old green receiving button now it’s replaced by the “Join” button in this new UI you can also view the users who have already joined the WhatsApp group call and invited users who have not joined that call.
